Grassfire.org Immigration
Scorecard Media Preview
Overview. Grassfire’s research team identified the key
immigration and border security votes from the 109th Congress and
rated each Senator and Representative — more than 5,800 votes in all
— based on whether the Congressman’s vote agreed or disagreed with
Grassfire’s border security position. Based on those tallied votes we
were able to “rate” their position. A legislator receiving 100
percent agreed with Grassfire.org’s position on every immigration
vote scored.
State Rankings. On the back panel, we have included
state-by-state summaries so you can see how each state ranks on the
Grassfire Border Security Scale. View state rankings
Distribution. Grassfire’s Immigration Scorecard will reach
more than 1 million people through print and online distribution.
100,000 copies have been printed and are being distributed across the
nation. A full dynamic electronic version will be available online
one week prior to the election.
