Controversial “No Amnesty” Billboard
Circles U.S. Capitol, White House
100% Citizen-Funded Effort Takes “Stop The Invasion” Message
Directly To Nations Leaders Through A Mobile Billboard

PRESS RELEASE:

Maxwell, IA–Thanks to a 100% citizen-funded effort, the grassroots “No Amnesty” message is literally surrounding our nation’s capital through a provocative mobile billboard campaign sponsored by Grassfire.org.

“Our giant ‘Stop The Invasion’ billboards have reached over 30 million people nationwide and we wanted to take this same message directly to Congress and the White House as they debate their latest amnesty proposals,” says Grassfire.org President Steve Elliott. “The mobile billboard provided the best way to accomplish our goal.”

The mobile billboard measures over 170’ in total square feet and prominently bears the words “Stop the Invasion” and “No Amnesty”. Elliott notes that Grassfire chose the mobile billboard because no traditional billboards are available anywhere near the “target market” of Capitol Hill.

For photos of the billboard and a multi-media summary of the campaign, go here:

Elliot says the message is already having an impact. “Our drivers report that every day citizens are stopping the mobile truck to thank us for the effort and asking to have their photos taken with the Capitol as a backdrop. Even though both our President and leaders in Congress insist on presenting the American people with new twists on amnesty, Americans by the millions do not want amnesty. This billboard is another reminder of that fact.” Elliott adds that Grassfire wants to keep the billboard running “until this latest round of amnesty proposals are defeated.”
