Meat-Packer Swift Finds 1,300 Americans
To Do "Jobs Americans Won’t Do”
Company Raided By ICE Back To Full Staffing,
Exposing Open Borders “Jobs” Fallacy

PRESS RELEASE:

Chesapeake, VA. Swift & Co, the meat packer caught by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) last December for having some 1,300 illegals in its employ, has managed to fill all those positions with Americans and legal residents -- exposing one of the leading fallacies of the open borders agenda.

“It took just five months for Swift to fill all the positions that we’re often told Americans will not do,” notes Steve Elliott, President of Grassfire.org -- one of the nation’s leading grassroots border security organizations. “The fact is, there are Americans who will do these jobs, and in very short time, Swift found them.” Now Swift is reporting that the areas of its business affected by the ICE raids have already or will soon return to “normal production levels” and hints that “operational and cost position improvements” (i.e. business efficiency) will further enhance the company’s position.

“The ‘jobs Americans won’t do’ excuse is not only a fallacy, it is a slap in the face of Americans who are eager to fill these jobs, as Swift has proven,” says Elliott. “The next time someone uses the jobs excuse to justify the flood of illegal aliens in our country, let's remind them of the Swift Miracle.”

With over 550,000 “No Amnesty” petition signers and tens of thousands of documented personal contacts from team members to Congress, Grassfire.org continues to spearhead grassroots opposition to the open borders/amnesty agenda.
