New TV Ads “Pin” Amnesty On McCain,
Kyl, Isakson, Chambliss, Others
“Where’s The Fence?” Ads Debut Wednesday Nationally And
In 7 Markets Targeting Key Senators On Amnesty

PRESS RELEASE:

Maxwell, IA. In new, innovative “Where’s The Fence” television ads that debut tomorrow, Grassfire.org is literally “pinning” the amnesty label to several senators who will likely decide whether the Senate passes the Bush-Kennedy bill.
"The architects and supporters of Bush-Kennedy are running from the ‘amnesty’ label, but they can’t hide,” says Grassfire.org President Steve Elliott. “That’s why we are literally putting a ‘Got Amnesty?’ label on these key senators who have either openly supported Bush-Kennedy or are leaning towards support.

The campaign features three elderly ladies searching for (and not finding) the fence Congress pledged to build at the border. “Where’s The Fence?”™” ads begin airing with an initial budget of over $175,000 and is expected to reach 15 million people in its first week. State-specific versions that “pin” amnesty to senators will be running in: Arizona (Kyl and McCain), Georgia (Isakson and Chambliss), Kansas (Brownback), Mississippi (Lott), North Carolina (Burr), and Virginia (Warner and Webb).

“Our leaders in Washington, D.C., have made a mockery of our laws and our language by pushing amnesty all the while denying that it’s amnesty ,” says Elliott. “Bush-Kennedy is amnesty from line 1. These senators still have a choice -- they can reject Bush-Kennedy and and we are holding them accountable by pinning them with amnesty. For the sake of our nation, we hope the label sticks.”
