Grassfire Delivers Over 190,000 Petitions To Armed Services Chairman, Sen. John Warner

Nationwide “I Support The Commander-In-Chief” campaign counters high profile campaigns of anti-war peaceniks.

MAXWELL, IA — Today in Washington, D.C., Grassfire, one of the nations leading and fastest growing Internet-based, citizen activist organizations, today delivered more than 190,000 petitions of support for our President to Senator John Warner (R-VA).

In response to peacenik organizations that have labeled this presidency as being “unjust, immoral and illegitimate,” Grassfire has sought to counter these kinds of destructive messages with one of support for our elected leader and our brave troops.

“These protests are not so much about war, but an attack against our President during a time
of war,” says Elliott. “We want to let the President know that these voices of protest do not represent the vast majority of Americans.”

Grassfire’s founder Steve Elliott is thrilled to deliver these petitions to Senator Warner. “Because of his distinguished military record—in two branches of service, as well as his service as the Secretary of the Navy, Senator Warner fully understands the importance of supporting our President and our troops during critical times like these. We know he will be moved by these petitions, and will pass the message of support on to our Commander-In-Chief.”

In addition to raising nearly 200,000 petitions on this issue, Grassfire continues to aggressively counter the destructive anti-American rhetoric that has been spreading throughout the nation through its daily radio program, and far-reaching media campaign.
