CONTROVERSIAL BUSH PHOTO PROMPTS Today, Grassfire.org called on Lehigh University officials to remove the politically charged art hanging in a common area of a university building. “Apparently, officials at Lehigh have no plans to remove the picture," said Steve Elliott, president of Grassfire.org. “Perhaps thousands of phone calls will help them reconsider their position.” The artist, Larry Fink, describes the photograph as a symbol of how the Bush Administration and its policies have treated the rest of the world – the woman in the picture supposedly a symbol representing the world. “This behavior is one of the most egregious I have ever witnessed by an institution. It is a clear demonstration of the irresponsibility and rebellion that our children are being force-fed by radical liberals using anti-American tactics to destroy President Bush. I expect Lehigh University will be flooded with phone calls, and quite frankly, they should be.”
